excellent durability with great designer color options. Sealed with a clear, protective top coat that is resistant to salt
and will not fade, chip or peel. UV and Chemical Resistant polymers form a seamless, monolithic coating that is
weatherproof, waterproof, stain resistant and abrasion resistant
- FlorDek ™ Quartz - Durable polymer base coat filled with colored quartz granules or silica sand to provide excellent
strength and traction with designer color options. Sealed with a clear, protective top coat that is resistant to salt and
will not fade, chip or peel. Our most versatile coating system that combines the strength of natural stone with UV and
Chemical Resistant polymers to form a seamless, monolithic coating that is weatherproof, waterproof and abrasion
resistant

Polished Concrete—Mechanical ground and polished concrete was developed from
ancient stone polishing techniques, and uses diamond tools in conjunction with downward
pressure of floor grinding equipment to peel away the top layer of the concrete. Similar to
wood flooring, progressively finer grits of diamonds are used until the desired patina
results. During the polishing process a concrete hardener and densifier is added to
strengthen the concrete finish to 3-4 times standard concrete. The final appearance is a
monolithic sheen that can range from a matte finish to a full gloss finish, depending on
application and preference.

Step 2—Apply penetrating primer for superior bonding
Step 3—Apply basecoat and broadcast quartz to rejection
Step 4—Apply 2nd basecoat and broadcast quartz to rejection
Step 5—Remove excess quartz and apply clear topcoat (2nd coat optional)
